Government Center Garage is dedicated

Architect: Kallmann & McKinnell & Knowles. Designed in the Brutalist style, it is located at 50 New Sudbury Street. The 1,865 [2,300-BG] space garage is the largest in the city at the time. Two floors of office space are subsequently added to the building. Demolition begins in 2022 to replace it with a large mixed-use development on the site.
